The Smoothie King Center continues to closely monitor the latest developments regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) globally and any potential impact it may have on our day-to-day operations. Providing a safe environment for our clients, visitors, guests and team members has always been our top priority.
We've worked closely with local & state officials, and Ochsner Health to develop a comprehensive health and safety plan, which is outlined below:
COVID-19 Vaccination & Testing for Events
As required by the City of New Orleans for entry into our venues for events, all ticketholders age 12 and above, staff, vendors and participants must provide evidence of 1) having received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine that has received full approval or emergency use authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or the World Health Organization or 2) evidence of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior to entering the event.
Prior to entry, each person may present their verified digital proof of vaccination (LA Wallet or other official government sanctioned app) or an original, digital photograph or photocopy (both sides) of their CDC vaccination card. They may also present an official vaccination record issued by another state, foreign nation or the WHO. In lieu of vaccination verification, you may also present a negative PCR test result that has been taken within the last 72 hours.
Masks will also be required at all times other than when actively eating or drinking.
FREE vaccines are readily available at health centers and pharmacies in every community. You can visit Ochsner.org/vaccineinfo for a list of Ochsner locations that offer the vaccine.
Face coverings will be mandatory for all fans and staff, and must be worn at all times (other than while actively eating or drinking). Failure to comply with this policy may result in ejection from the Smoothie King Center.
